BACKLIGHTING

Custom LED panels and linear systems designed for onyx, alabaster, and translucent quartz—plus under-cabinet, toe-kick, and display lighting. 90+ CRI, dimmable, color-consistent, and installed with uniform diffusion (no hotspots), clean wiring, and code-compliant drivers.

Description

We design and install even, elegant backlighting for translucent stone (onyx, alabaster, glass, translucent quartz) and for cabinets, toe-kicks, coves, and displays. Custom LED panels and linear systems are specified for uniform diffusion—no hotspots 90+ CRI, consistent color, and smooth dimming.

After a site review we set lumen targets, recommend panel type (edge-lit or matrix), confirm standoff depth, and plan wiring, drivers, and thermal management. We coordinate with your stone/cabinet team to align seams and access points.

During install we protect surfaces, mock up a test, mount panels and diffusers, route low-voltage wiring cleanly, commission the dimming/controls, and hand over a care & controls guide delivered on schedule and spotless.

Notes :

New 120V circuits, smart dimmers, drywall/stone modifications, glass fabrication, or cabinetry changes are not included by default—available as add-ons or via your licensed trades. Minimum cavity depth is typically 1–3 in (25–75 mm) depending on material and diffusion. Wet-area installs require appropriate IP-rated components and GFCI protection. Workmanship is warrantied; LED/driver warranties follow the manufacturer.

Frequently Asked Questions

Onyx, alabaster, glass, and many translucent quartz/porcelain panels, plus cabinet features like shelves, toe-kicks, and coves.

We set lumen targets, choose the right panel type and spacing, add optical diffusion, and specify a cavity depth that evens out the light.

Most projects need 1–3 inches of depth; thicker or less-translucent materials may require more. We confirm during planning.

Static white (2700–6500K), Tunable White, or RGBW for color effects—all dimmable and color-consistent.

Yes. We support 0–10V, ELV/TRIAC dimming, and popular smart systems (via compatible drivers/controllers).

Drivers are mounted in accessible, ventilated locations (base cabinet, closet, or soffit) with clean low-voltage runs for easy service.

We use IP-rated components and follow code (including GFCI) for damp/wet areas. Direct shower exposure requires special components.

LEDs are high-efficiency and long-life when properly cooled. KBreno warranties workmanship; product warranties follow the manufacturer. Care and controls guide provided at handover.
